We've only gone and launched our very own Spiced Rum: 59 Horses

Stewart is an extremely talented local tattoo artist and owner of ‘Studio 59’. He bought into the concept immediately and so began the process of developing our very own spiced rum with the team at Abingdon Distillery.

After a few months of playing around with different recipes and ideas, we all unanimously agreed upon the final recipe, Chocolate Orange!! It is a very distinct and one of a kind rum with notes of orange and chocolate, as well as numerous botanics and it really packs a punch!

Thankfully, having a super skilled tattoo artist as a co-collaborator helped massively when it came to the design. The name was chosen as a clear reference to both businesses and there we had it, our first ever spiced rum... ‘59 Horses’!!!

Since it’s launch in October, we can’t sell the stuff quick enough, both as our house rum and by the bottle to customers. In early 2025, a very cool bar in Ipswich called the Arcade Tavern placed an order to promote it as their ‘Rum Of The Month’.
